We are excited to invite you to the IPE Collaboration Symposium for World Health Day: Getting to the Heart of the Matter on April 11, 2025! This event offers a unique opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to engage in interprofessional dialogue across multiple disciplines. Participants from Audiology, Communicative Disorders & Sciences, Child and Adolescent Development, Counselor Education, Social Work, Special Education, Nursing, Nutrition, Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Kinesiology will come together for meaningful collaborative discussions.

Event Highlights:
-Keynote Presentation to inspire thought-provoking conversations and set the stage for the day's activities.
-Break-out Sessions focused on case studies, hands-on activities, and interactive learning.
-Opportunities for attendees to contribute their expertise and engage in interprofessional dialogue.
-The event will conclude with a panel that inspires reflective discussion over lunch, offering time for further collaboration and reflection on the day's activities.

The Hardship Grant is raising funds to support students who have experienced any unforeseen financial hardships that will prevent them from continuing their enrollment or create barriers to success. On March 1st, our Master's in Higher Education Leadership (HELM) team brought together our amazing community for the HELM Spring Institute: Counterstories & Ice Cream Scoops with Higher Education Leaders. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and a very special appreciation goes to our keynote speaker, SJSU President Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson, for sharing her insights and inspiring future higher education leaders.

This event provided an enriching opportunity for prospective students to connect with current HELM master’s students, explore research opportunities, and gain valuable insight into careers in higher education. Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations about their educational journeys, shared their own counterstories, and built connections with faculty and current cohorts—all while enjoying a sweet treat!

We are grateful to everyone who made this event a success and look forward to continuing to build a strong community of higher education leaders.
